Our Give a little campaign has come to an end and we would like to thank all of you who have made a donation. Overall, we have had 40 donation and have raised $4650. On top of this, we have held a Quiz night together with an auction where we managed to raise a further $8000. We are now in the final stages of fundraising with one last big raffle to go which will end on 15th September and we are planning on earning at least $3000 with that. This means that altogether we will have earned nearly $16000 of the total cost of $22000. This makes it affordable for each of us and would not have happened without your support.
We have been training at the yacht club 2 to 3 days a week/weather permitting and are organizing for one last big training weekend 16th/17th of September together with the other Nelson Sailing Teams. We will be updating photos and videos of training and the competition via our NCG Sailing Instagram page.
