We are in the last two days of the give a little for darling Fiadh. To echo Anna, it has been amazing to see the support and love pour in with you generous donations. So wonderful for Fiadh to have the financial support to help her make some milestones and the bonus was the amazing love and care shared with the family.

It means a lot. I put up a goal of $20,000 and we have made it - that is so amazing.

The family are supporting Fiadh as she recovers from her little op and the next stage begins. Again many thanks for your generosity and kindness to them

Thanks everyone for all the support, we can’t believe how generous or how far reaching our village is!

We’ve had a bit of a rough time with Fiadh back in hospital with another chest infection but she’s on the mend, being fed via an NG tube to avoid further infections before her gastrostomy surgery in chch next week. Cross all your fingers and toes for us that we avoid bugs before then. We’ve been having a rather lovely family time (and somewhat trying at times 🧟‍♂️) in our mini lockdown.

  • First trip to Centre of Movement

Before we left for our first trip to Centre of Movement Fiadh was barely able to hold up her head….not long into her sessions she was doing these tricks!

It was so uplifting to be in a space filled with optimism, joy, passion and knowledgable therapists. We get the same feeling with Mindy in Nelson at WiredActive

We would tell the twins in NICU that they were loved by so many people, we had no idea how big our support community would become. Thank you all so much, we are so grateful and the donations will make such a difference to Fiadhs life.

We had a tough week as Fiadh had a chest infection and needed an NG tube back in a lucky her dad is a master at putting it in! She’s doing much better now but it was such a light at the end of the tunnel seeing the donations coming in.

Because of these donations we’ve been able to book in some SLT sessions for our next trip to the Centre of Movement. These will hopefully help Fiadh to be able to eat purée, what a difference to her life that would make!
