Help give Roy a farewell he truely deserves.

Manawatu / Whanganui

If you know Roy you have nothing but love and respect for him, a talented artist and musician but more a fighter for the NZ Nuclear Test Veterans and their families. He raised funds for DNA testing of our Nuclear test vets, he took a case to the crown for compensation and fought a lifetime with the NZ govt for an apology and acknowledgement of the horrific testing that happened to our service men. To his last days he fought. Sadly while he was fighting his funeral money became bound in the bonus bond saga and cannot be released for another year. Roy has come to his final days and we would love to give him the send off such an honourable man deserves. Please help us bid him a final farewell.

Thank you all who have donated, Dad's send off could not have been more perfect, it really helped with letting him go. Thank you for all who attended, I think you can still view the service via live stream, if you send me your email I can send the link danu.sefton@gmail.com. Just to let you know the funds raised will be released into my account as Lisa Sefton, these will be used to pay R J Cotton and for any other occurred costs to make his day special. Love to you all.

To a fellow anti-nuclear activist who gave his best years to help those affected by nuclear radiation here and internationally. He is sorely missed by Christchurch disarmament friends. We will be with you all at the funeral in spirit.

Thanks Roy for all your amazing work over the years. He served with my Dad (Capt Alan Tyrrell) and I spoke to Roy a few times in relation to the veterans rights and what the government should do as the right thing. Kia kaha.
