Help Give Screech a Fighting Chance

  Dear Friends of Screech,

  We are heartbroken to announce that Screech was put to rest yesterday morning. The vets said it was highly likely he had tumors, as he wasn’t responding to his medication. The fact that he needed so much medication just to be able to eat was not ideal. Unfortunately, it was the best option to let him go. Lei got to spend hours with him at the vet, holding him tightly. He passed away with his mumma by his side, and is now resting peacefully. Though the world feels emptier now without his screeches to fill it, we will remember him forever. Thank you all again for your support, it has really meant a lot to us.

• Update on Screech

  Hello everyone, I wanted to give you all an update regarding Screech. Unfortunately, Screech’s health has not improved and is getting worse. He had a couple ultrasounds done recently and it’s been determined he has gallbladder disease and his pancreatitis is back. The vets are not sure where or not he has tumors in his gallbladder. On top of his current treatment, he is now receiving antibiotics, pain meds, and nausea meds. Right now, it’s looking like the endoscopy won’t assist in Screech’s health, and more likely a surgery will be needed. Screech has a vet visit in a couple weeks, by then we will have seen whether or not he has gotten any better. I will keep the page open until then. No matter what decision Lei makes, I know it’ll be in Screech’s best interest. Thank you all so much for donating. Your generosity has given us so much hope over the last month. The current funds raised will go towards Screech’s remaining vet bills.
