Please help our dear friend raise the funds to afford much needed hip surgery to restore her quality of life.
Waikato
Glenda is urgently in need of hip surgery as she lives in constant pain. Her condition has deteriorated to the extent that she requires a wheelchair for mobility. The pain does not allow her to sleep at nights and her quality of life is extremely poor.
Her friends and family are concerned at the accelerated deterioration of her health.
Glenda has pituitary gland malfunction which affects her weight therefore she does not fit the public criteria for surgery. The only option left for her, is to pay for private surgery.
Through her community Glenda has provided pastoral care and supported many people over the years. We hope that this ‘Give a Little’ page will provide an opportunity for Glenda to now be supported in her quest for surgery.
Myself and my friend, Carol Stevenson are friends of Glenda and have seen the deterioration of her condition over the past few years and are appealing to the community to help.
Hip replacement surgery, including anaesthetist and hospital bed stay.
This surgery will go ahead and all money donated will be spent on this procedure.
SURGERY DATE IS SCHEDULED ! 20 January 2020
Wonderful news. Glenda has seen an orthopedic surgeon, and they have booked the date for surgery.
