Gordy & Rissa are the first people to jump to others aid. Their mum and step-dad have lost everything. Time to give back where we can.
Northland
24 years ago Gordy & Rissa's mum (Marion 76) and step-dad (Brian 80) retired to their slice of paradise in Dargaville.
On Monday evening 11th June a gas bottle exploded and set the house of fire.
They managed to get out of the house with nothing but the clothes on their back and had to standby and watch the house burn down for more than 45mins for the fire brigade to turn up
The house is not salvageable
We are grateful they are both alive and unhurt.
I have known Gordy and Rissa for years and they are the first people to jump to others aid. This is a horrific experience for their family to go through. Their Marion and Brian have lost everything. They are going to have to rent somewhere while they wait for their house to be rebuilt and are in desperate need for essential items, such as clothes, food, and utensils. I'm sure insurance will eventually help however they need aid right now.
Any donation will help time to give back where we can.

Funds will be used to help put a temporary roof over their heads and feed and clothe them.
