Help Hamilton dairy worker family who lost two fingers in a machete attack during robbery.
Frankton, Hamilton
Nabin was attacked about 7.30am on Saturday morning 17th December when four offenders ran into Hamilton's Irvine Street dairy.
Nabin “offered no resistance whatsoever” to robbers but he was attacked with a machete after running to a back room for safety.
His thumb and finger were severed during the attack and he’s since had eight hours of surgery to reattach his thumb. But there is no clarity if he will regain use of his hand properly and when he can return to work.
Nabin and his wife are expecting birth of there first child in a few weeks. This vicious attack has caused the soon to be parents a lot of trauma and they face an uncertain future financially.
Nabin is a fellow retailer
Money will go to Nabin and his wife to help with his recovery and needs of soon to be new parents.
