One of our crew is down but not out — help support his recovery and the young family counting on him.
Hamilton, Waikato
Our mate and colleague Hamish had a cardiac arrest in November, and it’s shaken all of us. He’s a bloody good sparky and an all-round top bloke who’s always the first to put his hand up when someone else needs help. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
Hamish is still young, with a young family who adore him — Anastasia, Korbyn and little Eva. He’s fought like hell to stay with us and keep pushing forward, but the reality is he’s got a long recovery ahead of him. Work is off the table for a while, and that puts pressure on the people he loves most.
As we head into the Season of Giving, we’re asking our wider community to get behind this family. Any support, big or small, will help take the weight off their shoulders and give Hamish the space to heal properly.
If you can, please donate and share — it all makes a real difference. Together we can help this awesome family stay steady while Hamish focuses on getting well.
