Send Hannah some aroha to help her through her breast cancer journey
Canterbury
Hannah was 28, recently engaged and just 10 weeks out from racing at the Va'a World Sprint Championships when she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She has taken leave from her job to focus on her treatment, and started chemotherapy at Christchurch Hospital on the 7th May.
12 weeks on, with the chemo going well, Hannah could do with a little support to help her out with treatment related costs, including purchasing a wig and nutritional supplements. She would also really appreciate a trip home to Hokianga to visit her whanau.
This page aims to make Hannah's cancer battle a little easier for her and her fiancee Sean, who needs to continue working full time to make ends meet. Hannah is the most positive, caring, generous person, who always puts others' needs above her own. Lets send her some aroha to help her through this journey.
Hannah is an amazing friend of mine who is forever helping others. As she always puts others' needs before her own, I thought this would be a good opportunity for us to give her a little support through this tough time. I am also donating my hair to be made into a wig.
The funds raised will go to Hannah to spend on a wig, supplements and other treatment related costs. If possible, she would also love a trip home to spend some time with her whanau.
