Swelling has gone down some what (yay) and the cut is starting to scab (yay) but now we have had a MASSIVE blow out in the bulb, seems like one thing after another! He is still on “stable” rest and back to the vet once the swelling has gone down enough to scan for any further injuries

I’m getting pretty good at the bandage changes these days! The wound itself is looking a lot better but still waiting for the swelling to go down so we can go see our awesome vet to get the tendons scanned
UPDATE..... set back today, back off to the vets at 2pm 😢
Cecil is a very well known racehorse from down south, winning many races including the grand national steeplechase, I took him after his racing career, and we are now eventing and show jumping, he won his 1st red ribbon only a few weeks back! Just heartbreaking
