Helping Peter to get back on track.
Stratford, Taranaki
Peter has recently been billed $1728 in charges from Elizabeth R Rest home and $583 for an ambulance callout along with other charges.
Rasmus (Peter's son), Peter, and I are all shocked about the charges (Government tightening up according to the manager at Elizabeth R Rest Home), which is why we are setting up a Give a Little Page for Peter to help him get out of this pickle.
On a Sunday afternoon Rasmus and his partner Paris went over to visit Peter who had been unwell for a few days. The rest home didn’t think Peter needed to go to the hospital, but Rasmus and Paris thought it was best for Peter to be checked at the hospital. It turned out that Peter had a urine infection and did need to go to the hospital.
On the 7th of April Peter is due for an operation, and he must go up to New Plymouth Hospital on the 26 of March for his pre-operation requirements. The charge for the rest home to take Peter up to New Plymouth Hospital on the 7th of April will be $120 (7 a.m. operation) and we are hoping that Peter can get in my car for the appointment on the 26th, we have had difficulty in the past. If we are not successful there will be another ambulance charge of $500, as the rest home can’t accommodate Peter on the 26th.
We thank you for your support and understanding.
Peter was my partner 30 years ago and we have remained friends.
The money will be spent on ambulance fees, transporting Peter to New Plymouth Hospital on the 7th of April and paying Elizabeth R Rest Home any outstanding costs that have not yet been paid.
