Help Imran Represent NZ at the AICR World Championship

My name is Imran, and I am honoured to represent New Zealand at the 2025 AICR World’s Best Receptionist Championship in January 2026 in Brussels. I earned this opportunity after winning the 2025 AICR New Zealand Hotel Receptionist of the Year, and now have the privilege of competing against the best receptionists from around the world.

Like many who grew up in New Zealand, representing the silver fern has always been a lifelong dream. As a kid, I imagined wearing the black jersey and playing for the All Blacks. Life took me in a different direction into hospitality, but the dream of representing the country never faded. Being named the AICR New Zealand Hotel Receptionist of the Year has given me the chance to live that dream in a different arena. To stand on a world stage and represent Aotearoa is something I never imagined achieving this early in my career, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity.
