Help Isaac Represent New Zealand at the 2026 Commonwealth Karate Championships 🇳🇿🥋

Hi everyone, I’m Isaac, I’m 16, and I’ve been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2026 Commonwealth Karate Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, from 5th to 6th November 2026.

I’m really proud to have this opportunity. I have worked towards this through national and regional competitions, competing in a youth league overseas, national training camps and many hours of training. Being selected makes all that hard work feel worth it.

This will be my second time representing New Zealand internationally and I feel really lucky to have another chance to wear the New Zealand uniform and compete for my country.

I’m excited about competing in Glasgow, but nervous too. I know it’ll be a big challenge, so I’ll be training hard between now and November. I want to give it my best and make my family, club and everyone who has supported me proud.

The difficult part is getting there. There’s no funding available, so my family and I have to cover the flights, accommodation, competition fees, uniforms, karate gear and other travel costs ourselves.

So we have set up this Givealittle page to ask for a bit of help.

Any donation, big or small, would mean a lot to me and my family. If you can’t donate, sharing my page would also be a huge help.

Thank you to my family, coaches, club, teammates and everyone who has supported me.

Now it’s back to training! 🥋🇳🇿

Thanks so much for your support. It really does mean a lot.

Isaac
