Help Isobel Stevens get to Australia’s Tamworth Country Music Festival 2027.

Isobel Stevens is a 12-year-old country singer from Nelson who recently won Overall Junior Winner at the 2026 MLT New Zealand Gold Guitar Awards in Gore.

As part of this achievement, Isobel has been invited to perform at the New Zealand Showcase at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in Australia in January 2027 — an incredible opportunity for a young Kiwi country artist.

We are now fundraising to help cover the costs of travel, accommodation and other related expenses, (including food, travel insurance, transport (i.e. flight, trains taxis, shuttles and buses), passport, festival entry, tickets and event passes, additional baggage costs for guitar, laundry services) so Isobel can take up this opportunity and proudly represent Nelson and New Zealand country music.

The total cost for Isobel and her mum to attend is expected to be around $12,000–$15,000. We are also applying for grants and sponsorship, and running other local fundraising efforts, but any support through this page would make a huge difference.

Funds raised will go toward flights, accommodation, transport, travel insurance, and other costs connected with the Tamworth opportunity.
