Jess is my sister and she will be representing NZ at the Commonwealth Championships, so any donations will be much appreciated!
Glenfield, Auckland
Jess is going to be representing NZ in the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships over in Sun City South Africa in October 😎. She has been powerlifting for 2 years and in 2023 is when she started competing. In September 2023, she competed at Nationals in Christchurch, NZ and placed 2nd in Jnr -69kg.
Jess spends a lot of time at her powerlifting gym, Northshore Barbell (NSBB), she will spend over 3 hours per training here - it's technically her second home. She also volunteers at local powerlifting competitions to support her peers. Jess will be stepping out of her comfort zone by travelling alone to SA, and this will be her last year as a junior, so having the opportunity to compete means a lot to her.
Jess is a icon and role model to many (me) as she has received multiple squat records in her weight and age category - hitting 145.5kg at nationals in September 2023 for a National record, and then 160.5kg in April 2024 at Auckland Champs for a Regional record.
It would mean a lot to her if you could donate and contribute any funds because Jess will be paying for all of her expenses as nothing is funded or provided apart from the NZ SBD Kit.
Help support Jess get to Sun City, South Africa to show off her skills and represent NZ! 💪🏼🏋🏼😎
I am Jessica's older sister
