Help Jonno repair his home and make it liveable again
Sandringham, Auckland
Our mate Jonno has had his home seriously damaged by the floods. As some of you know, Jonno has been in a wheelchair following a tragic accident 12 years ago. He has been through hell but has been thriving recently with jobs in football journalism as well as a first team manager position at Mt Albert Ponsonby Football Club.
For Jonno to keep doing what he loves and for him to manage his daily care he requires a lot of assistance and the modifications around his home are catered for his needs. He lives in the downstairs area of his family home and this was completely flooded out causing significant damage to his living area.
Unfortunately, Jonno and his family were under insured which has left them scrambling for assistance. All the modifications that were done to make his life more liveable/independent is now irreplaceably damaged. Jonno has had to evacuate into temporary accommodation as his home is no longer a safe place to stay.
The family needs support and so we are reaching out for some financial assistance that Jonno and his family are too humble to ask for. Any little amount will go a long way to getting Jonno back to the relative comfort of his home, where he can live more independently and continue his amazing progress.

Rebuilding Jonno's full living area downstairs which was irreplaceably damaged. This includes flooring, walls, access lift, doors, steps, and a number of crucial modifications done to cater for disability equipment as Jonno is in a wheelchair.
