Help Jos after multiple landslides condemn her home

Jos Dennis is our mum, a kind and caring woman, who goes above and beyond helping those around her, always there for friends and family when they need her.

Unfortunately a recent weather event in Mangawhai has left her homeless with her house very unsafe after significant landslides. The house now sits right on the edge of multiple large slips with large cracks through the concrete floors. The land is unstable and unlikely to be built on again. With her home now red stickered and the land so unstable she’s not allowed in to obtain any of her or her grand daughters possessions so basically they have to start again.

She is temporarily staying with different members of our family and travelling over an hour each way to her part time jobs to pay the mortgage on a home she can no longer live in.

Our family would love to be able to take away some of the financial stress and raise some funds for her while she deals with the heartbreak of loosing her home of 30 years, a home she raised her children in and that she shared with her grand daughter.

Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated and make a huge difference to our mums life at this difficult time.

Please note: she does have insurances but at this stage we are unsure what they will cover and how long the process will take.
