Help Justine fight Stage 4 cancer. She needs to regain weight and strength to improve treatment options, including some tumour removals.
Diamond Harbour, Canterbury
Justine has spent her life helping others, raising millions for worthy causes and supporting community projects, most recently Good Media Collective. Now, unable to work, she's grateful but uncomfortable asking for even more help.
Living independently with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, Justine has also battled severe gut illness, bowel obstructions and malnutrition. After multiple hospital admissions, she was placed into palliative care.
But Justine hasn't given up.
Through determination and trial and error, she's stabilised her health and regained some independence. However, she remains severely underweight, with muscle loss, limited mobility and growing tumours. Her goal is to rebuild strength, reduce inflammation and ultimately become cancer-free. Her low weight currently limits treatment options.
Having spent her KiwiSaver, sold her tiny home and now selling her business shares, she needs financial support beyond her sickness benefit.
Donations will help fund:
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (rental or purchase)
Specialist doctors and necessary supplements
Occasional lymphatic drainage massage
These therapies are intended to support overall wellbeing.
Justine hopes to rest, return to the ocean, write her book and enjoy life again. Guided by strong faith, she's praying for a miracle while focusing on rest and rebuilding her strength.
Every donation or share means so much. Thank you.
