Help Karen-Anne on her Journey with Cholangiocarcinoma

We are reaching out to ask for your help and support on behalf of our lovely friend Karen-Anne, who we care deeply about. Karen-Anne was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare form of cancer affecting the bile ducts, which came as a shock to all of us. Her cancer treatment has been a long and challenging journey, and she has been in and out of hospital many times over the past year. Now, she is in the palliative care phase of her treatment.

Many of you already know Karen-Anne: she genuinely is a kind-hearted person who is always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. Karen-Anne has contributed so much to others, from volunteering her time to help others at Lower Hutt hospital to supporting a surrogate Grandparents group in Wellington, with the aim of connecting families with Grandfriends in the community.

Now is the time to show our appreciation to Karen-Anne, who has given so much to others. We're setting up a Give a Little page to help her cover some of the costs of her medical expenses and expenses related to her treatment. We understand that a lot of us are facing difficult times, but any amount you can contribute will be invaluable in helping our friend during this critical time. Reducing the worry over finances will allow her to focus on more positive things and afford her time to do more fulfilling activities.
