We all have different things to give to make a strong Paekākāriki community.

Right now our collective website platform www.paekākāriki.nz is in financial trouble. We need to raise $9500 additionally this year.

After more than four years of operation - developed by the community, with some generous initial donors, and the weekly costs of an editor covered by over 50 local businesses/ services, we still have a funding shortfall to cover to keep funding our editor position: sharing community information, groups, listings, events, walks and publishing our stories. The site is remarkably valued: we have 5000 unique visitors a month.

Many people in the village give their time and their talents already. So we understand that it takes a village to make a place in different ways. But for those who can, we really appreciate it.
