Support for Salwa, Zaid and youngest who not only lost a Husband and Father but a Son and Brother in the Christchurch Mosque Shootings.
Canterbury
Loving father and husband, Khaled Alhaj Mustafa, 44, and his son Hamza Mustafa, 16, were 2 of the 50 killed in the mosque shootings in Christchurch on March 15th 2019. They leave behind a wife/mother, Salwa Mustafa, a daughter/sister, and son/brother Zaid Mustafa who was also injured in the mosque shooting.
Khaled Mustafa and his family arrived in New Zealand last year via Jordan as Syrian refugees in the hopes of creating a better life for themselves and securing their children's futures.
Khaled was an incredible family man with strong values and a love for animals as he had previously worked as a farrier in Syria.
Hamza was a Cashmere High student and a beloved member of the community with a gleaming future.
In this beautiful family's time of need, it is our responsibility to ease the financial burden this tragedy has caused, Salma, Zaid, and their youngest daughter.
A family friend of the victims. Hoping to make a difference in the lives of this beautiful family in the wake of such a tragedy.
The funds will go directly to Salwa Mustafa's bank account to help her continue raising her remaining 2 children during this tragic time. The support of this campaign will also help with the medical needs of her injured son, Zaid.
