Help Kiara get treatment in Auckland

  • Update on Kiaras treatment

      29 July 2018

In a cruel twist of fate Kiaras nan who has been on the journey from the beginning has just been diagnosed with renal cancer, due to this fact we have asked if we can have Kiaras next treatment in Auckland instead of Australia. The cost of the actual treatment will be the same no matter where she has it done. As we had reported it would be in Australia we wanted everything to be open and honest and to inform everyone that had and or will donate. We are still waiting on what course of treatment her nan will be having but we do know that a flight to Australia is not on the cards. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

An article written about Kiara is available to read this week, a beautiful well written article. And the photos just show how amazingly happy she is.

  • Next Treatment

      19 July 2018

Well it is nearly time to start thinking about Kiara's next treatment. This is just an update of what has been happening since she first went. SO our journey began and Kiara could do barley more than slow rolling. NOW wow what a difference she is rolling all over like a little tornado. She is sitting unaided for about 20 minutes and is attempting to crawl. We are still having issues with her weakness in her arms but she is getting stronger day by day. So to everyone who has helped so far thank you from the bottom of our hearts you have made it possible for this little girl to be able to be the best she can.

Thank you to everyone that has donated so far.

Kiara's next treatment will be in Adelaide at the Timmermans main clinic which will hopefully be in September. Then every 6 months going forward alternating between Auckland and Adelaide. All funds are going direct to the cost of these treatments.

Update on how she has been since her first treatment. She is now sitting unaided for about 15 minutes at a time and rolling all over the floor. (She was unable to sit for any length of time previous to the therapy) Amazing how quick she is progressing with this therapy, she still has a long way to go but Chad and the Timmermans method have given us all hope for a bright future for this wee treasure.

  • Payment account

      26 April 2018

Hi Everyone, This update is just to let everyone know that the funds will be paid into a sub account of Angela Milner (Joshua's mum and Kiaras Nana) called Kiara's Fund. This is to keep all funds in one central location and give Joshua the freedom to be able to concentrate on Kiara's treatment and medical appointments etc. Thank you in advance for supporting Kiara to get the treatment she needs.
