A sneak peek into the lab...

Our research turning brewers' spent grain into nanocellulose, a material with applications in packaging, cosmetics, and electronics, has picked up national media coverage over the past few weeks.
This attention comes at a big moment for us. NanoBrew is heading to the iGEM International Synthetic Biology Competition Grand Jamboree in Paris later this year to represent New Zealand on the international stage. Getting there takes funding, and every bit of support helps us bring this research further.
Thank you to the University of Canterbury and the journalists who've told our story, including NZ Herald, RNZ, The Press, Newstalk ZB, and more.
Special shout out to Jade, who has been representing our team in the media throughout this coverage.
