Krystal has been chosen, along with 23 other students, to be apart of SGCNZ YSC which involves travelling to London. But needs some help...

Otago

Hello! I'm Krystal O'Gorman. As I said, I am one of the 24 students that have been chosen to be apart of SGCNZ YSC 2018. This involves representing NZ in London and performing a public show on the infamous Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

We also take intensive workshops with leading tutors, have rehearsals with a great director, see behind the scenes of the best theatres, watch some outstanding performances, and take a trip to Stratford Upon Avon to take a look at the life of, the man himself, Shakespeare.

This exciting experience will help me develop my acting skills, my knowledge of Shakespeare and his plays, my ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively, how to work on my energy and time management, to be apart of a team, and gain some self-confidence. Also, I get to stand on probably the most famous stage in the world which is a nice bonus!

Use of funds

My main goal is around $8000 to cover all the costs- flights, accommodation, food, workshops, theatre tickets, insurance and taxes.

EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS!!! Whether it's $200, $20 or $2, it will be greatly appreciated!!!
