Help Larry get back to the UK!

Like so many people around the world, Larry has had a challenging few years. Having come through an aorta valve replacement and chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer, a recent routine CT scan revealed a tumour in Larry's liver. The prognosis is three to five months. Larry has made the difficult decision to leave his friends here in New Zealand and head back to the UK where he will be with his family. Larry has already purchased a Business Class ticket because he will need to lie down for the long flight home. The funds from this Givealittle page will contribute to the astronomical cost of the flight and for day to day expenses whilst in the UK.

I have know Larry since I moved to NZ in 2006. He is a dear friend who lives around the corner from me here in Warkworth.

The money will be spent on flights and day to day expenses once Larry is in the UK.

Thank you all for your love and support at this time. Larry has been deeply touched by your generosity from a community that he loves so much. Since we started the fundraising, Larry's circumstances have changed. The plan for him to return to the UK to be with him family is no longer an option. After two emergency operations in the last couple of weeks. Larry was recently told that there is nothing more the hospital medics can do for him. He has now returned home where is receiving palliative care. The funds raised will now be used for the care he requires now and to contribute to flights for a couple of his daughters to fly to NZ, which will mean so much to him. We would like to thank you once again for your love and generosity. Your contribution will make a huge difference at this challenging time for Larry. Much love.
