Help a scaffolder give his family a chance to say goodbye
Wellington
Unfortunate edit: Leo has sadly passed away today due to implications, this give a little page will now be used to cover funeral costs and support for those closest to him. Hopefully if we raise enough, we can send Leo back home to the Phillipines so his wife and children get the chance to say goodbye in person
Our hard working friend has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.
Leomar is a man who works in scaffolding upwards of 70 hours to provide for his family back home, in the Phillipines. along side that he makes himself available to all his work mates and friends wether it’s to cook for them, offer his support, and help them out in anyway he possibly can. Leomar is a very cherished person by those that love him and want to repay Leo for his continued benevolance and generosity
On behalf of Leo, his co-workers, former co workers and friends alike have banded together to give our support anyway we can. We are hoping to raise 15,000 to help get his wife to nz to help take care of him and for financial aid while he undergoes chemo therapy

Updated in May/2024: Funds will now be used to cover funeral costs and support for those closest to him. Hopefully if we raise enough, we can send Leo back home to the Phillipines so his wife and children get the chance to say goodbye in person
Financial aid and to bring his wife to New Zealand to help take care of him during this time
Let’s get Leo home 8 May 2024
Unfortunately Leo has now passed away, this donation page will now be focused on getting him back home and hopefully giving his family support as he was their caregiver, working hard in New Zealand so his family in the Philippines can live a good life. The donations will be going to his closest friend in nz, his brother, Freddie. With the phillipino embassy’s help, Freddie will be able support getting Leo home and the remaining donations, will be sent back to Leomars family to further help support them with the loss of their husband, dad, son, and uncle ❣️ we thank you all for your beyond generous generous koha to help our friend get back home, words can’t describe the amount of gratitude we all fell for your kind generosity 🩷🩷
