Des is doing much better, he does need a few more blood tests and stuff but he is doing well, and is a bit of a menace. Thank you all again
Hi everyone, i wanted to say thank you for all your donations to Grey (now Des) as he is with me, had his dental surgery, vet visits and i'm using leftover funds for his vaccinations and food and litter. He is doing really well and is totally annoying my other cats !!

Ok recap of the days events!
So he had anaesthetic, scale and polish had already lost a few teeth over his life already, but unfortunately the roots were still in his mouth and all rotten, poor thing, so the vet got all the rotten roots out for him and he needed 4 extra teeth out 😅
They also sorted some old reabsorption lesions out.
I asked for bloods and they were good except for very slightly elevated renal.
I also asked for him to get fluids if he needed it.
So the mouth should be ok now, and hopefully he will feel much better now. Vet thinks he's about 8ish years old.
I have buprelieve pain relief for him, clindamycin antibiotics and some gapapentin.
I also got him microchipped under his new name "Des" short for Designated Smoking Area. 😆😆 I hope Jaqueline is proud of that unhinged name 😆
Cos it goes with Dave "spider legs" Pacino and Dirty Cash and I think it's funny but cos I like Des and Dave and DC 🥰🥰
All up today was 1100 bucks including some soft kitten food for him.
Phew, am so tired but so happy he will be feeling better in a few days, might go get him some nice bone broth from raw essentials at some point. He will also need his vaccinations which I will get done in the next few weeks after he's recovered a bit!

Little grey is not the happiest boy this morning, no breakfast and in the carrier, but he'll feel much better after the big dental today
A certain little guy has been doing so well!
We are waiting for the dental which is on a couple weeks. Little grey has been really good, still scaredy, but eating well, and had a bath and is looking so much better now.

He's doing well, in his crate, eating and using litter tray and had his second antibiotic injection this morning. Dental appt will be made very soon.

Managed to manhandle Grey and get him to the vet. He was tested for Fiv and felv and was negative! Yay
He was pretty good, I was especially happy as he'd gained lots of weight and was around 4 kilos. His lip that sort of hangs down is a injured ligament so it won't go back to normal but won't get worse and he can eat so it's ok. His kidneys were a good size, temperature was good too. The bad news is that his teeth were awful and he needed antibiotics for a bad gum infection and will need a sedation and dental surgery. So this fund will cover most of that I'm hoping. He's at my place, in a crate, with all the comforts and is just chilling out.
So vet visit initial appointment has been made, he has been flead and wormed and I have a carrier ready to go!
