Leaping into chemo...and out of a plane!

Maddix along with his Mum Alisha made their way to Christchurch earlier this week to begin his chemo treatment.
Of course Maddix has kept his can do attitude and kept his mum entertained throughout the trip, he’s in extremely good spirits as per usual.
Wednesday afternoon he had an operation to install his ‘porty’ a wee device that assists with receiving the chemo medicines, he recovered from that so well he even made it out for much needed take aways for tea.
He had a days break on Thursday before commencing treatment, and after much debating between himself and his mum, made his first purchase of a new phone.
He made good argument, it will help him capture moments and memories (as well as pictures to update us all), provide entertainment on his down days and of course help him keep in touch with his friends and family.
-of course it had nothing to do with Netflix or gaming 😂
This morning he got all connected up to the chemo and started off on his new reality. It was a long day but he’s feeling relatively good, both Maddix and Alisha are looking forward to getting home to their family tonight.
AND! Previous to this, last week he was surprised with a Sky dive -which he did with no hesitation! 16000 ft I’ve been told...many times.
This kid is unreal!
