Help Marla Walk Again

$1,743 of $14,636 goal
Given by 28 generous donors in 14 days

Help Marla walk again through life-saving IVDD surgery.

Auckland

Marla is our little dachshund, full of love and personality.

If you’ve ever been around St Heliers or Crossfield Reserve, you might have seen her — sometimes walking, sometimes rolling happily in her wheelchair, always stopping to say hello.

This is her 3rd IVDD episode in a year, and now surgery is her best chance to walk again and live without pain.

We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone this time.

Any support, big or small, means the world to us — and to Marla ❤️

If you’re not able to donate, sharing this page would help us reach more people and would mean just as much.

Use of funds

The funds will go towards Marla’s IVDD surgery, diagnostic imaging (MRI), veterinary care, medication, and post-surgery rehabilitation.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
