Help Marley moo receive unfunded medication!

    We have fully weaned Marley off his CBD oil. We have seen his seizures increase again and his mobility has decreased further.

    He is having a high number of falls due to his drop seizures and lack of balance and coordination when he does try to ambulate.

    We will be using any extra funds we receive to go towards his van modications. We will get some funding from the government towards these modifications but we still have quite a large gap to 'make up' so that Marley will be able to travel in his 'bus' comfortably.

  • CBD Wean....

    It is with a heavy heart that we have to update everyone that it appears Marley is becoming tolerant to his CBD oil...just as he has with all his other medications trialled so far.

    We are still seeing a good response from the oil in that he is verbalising more and more purposeful but his seizures are totally out of control again and we always said we could not justify continuing the oil unless it was significantly improving his quality of life. He is really struggling with pain due to the amount of constant seizures he is having and this has lead to a week of pretty intense emotions in our wee home.

    We have been advised that we will be doing a slow wean off his oil over the next couple of months and the give a little funds that have been donated this time around will help us do that....thank you!

    The next step is to try to control Marley's pain and associated symptoms.

    His page will remain open until it's closing date and (as we stated in the page) any funds left over after his CBD wean will be spent on specific things we need for Marley that will help his quality of life.
