Help me build a cat sanctuary!

Hi everyone! I currently care for over 30 rescue cats. I have been rescuing cats for 15 years and specialize in unsocial and feral cats.

My dream is to build a cat sanctuary specifically for the ones that nobody wants to adopt, but still deserve love and safety.

Most of the cats in my care currently came from feral colonies, some have taken years for me to be able to touch and a few I still cannot touch at all. I adore every one of them and provide specific care to each of their individual needs.

I have spent years funding and housing these cats to ensure they have the best quality of life. I have exhausted all funds and I want to give them more, especially as some of the cats are getting older now and I want to give them the best life before they pass.

The current situation is that I rent and cannot expand, alter or help any more.

The plan is to buy a property for security and safety, being big enough to expand and have more social cats in the house, with the unsocial colony cats in an indoor/outdoor enclosed sanctuary. Protecting both them and our wildlife. This way they can still frolic in the grass, roll around in the dirt and also have a proper indoor shelter with all their necessities. A quarantine building will be added for newcomers and those who are sick as many of the strays that come in are riddled with parasites, fleas, viruses or infections.

Feral cats are being killed in NZ every day and I think they deserve a chance.
