Help Me Get A Car to Keep Supporting my Family
I would appreciate any assistance in raising funds for a car that will help me continue working independently.

Hi, I’m Shiara. I’m a nurse in NZ and I help support my family back in the Philippines.
My sister is fighting cancer, so I pay for my niece’s and nephew’s tuition and cover some family debts. I do my best with extra nursing shifts and a small dog walking/pet sitting side job.
Last year I lost my car after my credit got damaged. Now I borrow my partner’s car for work — but I feel guilty and stuck relying on him.
Having my own small, reliable car will help me:
✅ Keep my side jobs going and earn more
✅ Stay independent instead of feeling like a burden
✅ Keep helping my sister’s kids stay in school while she focuses on getting better
Use of funds
I’m asking for help to raise $8,000 NZD, which will cover:
$5,000–6,000: A modest used car with registration, WOF, insurance
$1,200: To pay down urgent family debts
$1,500: To help with my nephew’s and niece’s tuition for the rest of the school year
