Help me get to the WORLD AXE THROWING championships in the USA in APRIL 2024

My name is Michelle from Wellington New Zealand and I have some exciting news!

I will be attending the World Axe Throwing and World Knife Throwing Leagues' World Championship April 18-21 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.! With my Duals partner, I am representing my local venue Sweet Axe Throwing Wellington with a few others, and I will be proud to represent at this premier televised on ESPN event!

This will mark the 7th World Axe Throwing Championship and the 3rd World Knife Throwing Championship. Over 380 throwers from all over the world will be battling it out for the title of champion in 4 different disciplines. The finalists will compete on ESPN and vie for a part of the $40,000 prize pool!

Some quick facts about me and my history in axe throwing:

* I've been throwing axes competitively since 2020 originally joining a league in the Gold Coast then moving home to NZ and joining a league here.

* I compete in the World Axe Throwing League, which comprises more than 350 axe throwing venues and over 10,000 active throwers around the world

I think residents in New Zealand would be thrilled to know about their representation at the World Axe & Knife Throwing Championships.

I would love anyone that can chip in and get me there, it’s been my dream to go experience this event and meet some of the best in the world. The fundraised money will cover flight, accomodation, a new axe and general expenses getting there. This fundraiser will go towards me.
