Helping my mum recover from heart surgery In India —every dollar goes to her care. Any extra funds will go to serve other elderly in need.
Auckland
Waheguru Ji (Dear Lord)
My name is Jeet (Kawaljit Kaur). I’m a daughter standing beside my mother during the most difficult time of her life. She recently underwent a major heart surgery and is still in intensive care. The emotional and financial strain is beyond words.
I am not asking this for myself, but for the woman who gave me life, stood by me through every hardship, and now needs support for hers.
The total cost of treatment and aftercare is significant. I have already contributed everything I had, and while Waheguru Ji is providing strength, I am humbly reaching out for help.
🕊️ I solemnly promise that every single dollar donated will go only towards my mother's treatment.
🕊️ I also make a heartfelt pledge before Waheguru Ji: Anything that remains beyond my mother’s medical needs will not be used for myself — it will be used exclusively for seva (service) to other elderly parents in need, through the “Maa-Baap Sewa Foundation” I am preparing to launch.
This is more than just one life—it is the beginning of a mission: to ensure that no daughter or son ever feels helpless in caring for their parents due to financial or social barriers.
Waheguru Ji knows every heart. If you’re able to contribute, thank you from the depths of my soul. If not, your ardaas and blessings are more than enough. Please keep my mother in your prayers.
Please share, support, or pray — every gesture counts.
With folded hands,
Jeet Kaur (Kawaljit Kaur)
The funds will be used for my mum’s heart surgery recovery, including ICU care, medications, and rehabilitation. Any extra funds will go towards starting the Maa-Baap Sewa Foundation to support other elderly parents in need.
Update on Mum’s Health 11 September 2025
Sorry for the delay in sharing an update. I was in India with Mum, as she went through two surgeries. She is now feeling better, and my sister is currently taking care of her. Mum is still very weak and tiny, but thankfully she is not in any danger. With time and rest, we are hopeful she will be able to walk independently again in the next few months.
Thank you so much for your support and kindness during this tough time—it has meant a lot to us.
Thanks a lot Waheguru ji. Lots of blessings and best wishes from Waheguru Ji
