Help Megs get mobile again

  • Help desperately needed

      7 August 2025

This is why we need help for Megs. She's trying to stay active but it's getting so hard.

Megs is also having some breathing difficulties so having a way to get around is even more essential.

Well, eventful walk at Morland Fox Park this afternoon. I was walking Echo and Koda who we're babysitting atm. Koda bowled me over and I fell. He was just excited and not watching. It was also the first time I've walked him by myself.

Now I've always envisioned if that happened I'd snap my arm in the crutch but thankfully I managed to get my arm out in time.

The other thing I'd envisioned was how would I get up. I can't get up myself because of the way my legs and feet can't move.

Thank goodness there were two city council workers there and when I yelled for help they came over and helped me up.

I have added a few photos to show a couple of the many operations Megs has had over the years. I hope this gives people an inkling of what her life is like and the struggles she faces every day.

Thank you to all those who have donated to help Megs. We have been doing some research into what will be best and hope to have an idea soon.

Please continue to share to all your contacts so we can get something sorted sooner rather than later.
