Help Mikey Reach His Car T Therapy Overseas

    Hey everyone,

    Just a little update on Mikey. He is now just about finished with his CAR-T cell therapy treatment, with his first scan scheduled for this upcoming Sunday.

    His journey so far has been incredibly tough. He hasn’t been feeling his best, with some of his previous symptoms returning, and he has also experienced some complications leading up to and during his treatment.

    Please continue to keep Mikey in your thoughts and prayers as he remains in Shanghai. The support page will remain open, as he has been spending a lot of time in hospital due to his condition and will continue to need support throughout his recovery.

    Thank you all so much for your continued love, support, and kindness towards Mikey. It truly means a lot to him, his family, and everyone who cares about him.

    We're grateful to share that Mike has arrived safely in China and has begun his CAR T-Cell Therapy treatment.

    This is a major milestone, and none of it would have been possible without the overwhelming love, generosity, and support from every single person who has donated, shared his story, or kept him in their thoughts. Thanks to your support, we reached our original $500,000 fundraising goal. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this life-changing opportunity possible.

    While Mike is now receiving treatment, the journey is far from over. He will be in China for an extended period while doctors closely monitor his progress and recovery. Although the original fundraising goal has been achieved, we now expect the overall costs of Mike's treatment and recovery to exceed our initial estimate due to the length of his stay, ongoing hospital-related expenses, accommodation, daily living costs, transport, and any unexpected expenses that may arise throughout his treatment. For this reason, the Givealittle page will remain open to help support these additional costs.
