While Mike is now receiving treatment, the journey is far from over. He will be in China for an extended period while doctors closely monitor his progress and recovery. Although the original fundraising goal has been achieved, we now expect the overall costs of Mike's treatment and recovery to exceed our initial estimate due to the length of his stay, ongoing hospital-related expenses, accommodation, daily living costs, transport, and any unexpected expenses that may arise throughout his treatment.
