On Wednesday while Jacqueline, Molly and Ella were out there was a fire that badly damaged their kitchen and made the house uninhabitable. The girls moved out and found somewhere for their 3 dogs to stay. If that wasn't devastating enough, 2 days later another fire started in the house, and this time gutted the place, destroying everything they had.

The family is left with only what they had with them on the Wednesday morning.

Not only do they need to buy the essentials (clothes to wear, day to day necessities) they also have to prepare to head back to school and work, re-buy uniforms/ stationary for both girls.

All money raised will be given to Jacqueline to help with these costs. Despite having insurance, it will be some time before any kind of payment will be made. The family has been told that linen isn't covered, and clothing has minimal payout due to depreciation. And apparently anything over 10 years old won't be paid either. So any money raised ill be instrumental in enabling the girls and Jacqueline to purchase clothing and essential items.

My family and I have know Jacqueline, Molly and Ella for many years through Gisborne Central School. This family is a huge part of the community and are very much loved and respected.

All money raised will be given to Jacqueline and her girls to buy whatever they need.

Hi Everyone.

Firstly, thank you all so much for your amazing generosity and kind words. I know that Jacqueline, Molly and Ella appreciate it.

Jacqueline tells me they have found a place to rent, which is fantastic, and they move in a couple of weeks. I know that they need to start accumulating pretty much everything to have at the new place, from utensils to bedding and furniture.

A few people have already offered some items and if anyone is able to donate any household items I am happy to be the drop off point for things.

Once again, thanks so much for donating. Jax and the girls are such a beautiful family and the depth of feeling for them is overwhelming.
