Help mum pay for operation before being made redundant

I have set this page up for my mum to help pay for her operation and offer financial support during this hard time after months of treatment suffering from bowel cancer and now being made redundant. Last year she was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. After 26 lots of radiation and 8 weeks of chemo she had the cancer as well as her bowel removed. After the operation she spent 20 nights in hospital with many complications. Four weeks later she started chemo again for four months. Last week she finally finished treatment and now just needs an operation to reverse her bowel. The same week she got confirmation that she was being made redundant at the end of the year from her job where she has been working for the past 13 years, the company is moving over seas. She has remained working through most of her treatment with her hours cut in half so money has been very tight. So I am hoping to raise some money for her to have this operation so she can get some normality back into her life start working full time again and confidently look for new work. Mum can go through the public system to have her operation but due to the circumstances as well as the wait to have it done (up to a year on the waiting list) she has decided to go private she does have health insurance but is still needing to pay 20% she is currently off work this week due to another infection the sooner the operation can be done the better.
