With a heart full of gratitude, I'm closing our page. I've added more photos from the first surgery healing period and a couple from the past few days after her second surgery. I'll be sharing her progression through cage rest for those who wish to continue following her journey (if I can still upload them). I've also included the second invoice for transparency of your generous contributions ❤️

    Kia ora,

I’m so happy to share that Pusspuss has successfully undergone her second surgery!

Thanks to the immense support from my incredible community. This journey has been made possible by each and every one of you who has generously contributed. Fortunately, my family helped me cover the rest of the costs for the second surgery, so I am closing our Givealittle page.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your kindness and donations have not just helped but have transformed our darling cat’s life. It’s more than just financial support, it’s a testament to the boundless compassion animal lovers like you possess.

I am deeply moved and grateful. Because of your help, Pusspuss will be free from pain and ready to enjoy a long, joyful life. We are so blessed to have such a caring community around us. Thank you for being a part of her healing journey.

    With heartfelt thanks,

    Rose and Pusspuss ❤️

    Kia ora, lovely supporters!

Great news—Pusspuss has completed her first phase of cage rest and is now enjoying her freedom for the next month! It's heartwarming to see her enjoying some normality. She is so cuddly and happy to move around. Her leg has shown remarkable progress, and I’m so excited for her tough journey to be over in a couple months time.

I cannot express enough gratitude to each and every one of you who has donated, shared our story, and offered kind words. Your kindness continues to inspire us on this journey.

We're still pressing on with our fundraising efforts for Puss Puss's second surgery. If you could spare a moment to share our page, it would mean the world to us.

For those in the Raglan area, mark your calendars for an upcoming talent show in early April! I'm putting together an event that promises to be both entertaining and meaningful. Stay tuned for more details as we finalise performers and set the date.

Sending heaps of love from pusspuss and I ❤️ Together, we've already made such a difference, and I'm endlessly grateful for your ongoing support.

  • Amended goal after surgery invoice.

Her first surgery was $2,678.30, which is a couple of hundred dollars less than expected, which is great news! Based on this information, I am amending the goal from $5,500 to $4,900 as I expect her second surgery will cost around $2,200 as X rays will not be required next time. I have attached a copy of the first invoice.

If we raise more than needed, the excess will go to Paws Awhile Animal Sanctuary in Raglan to support more animals in need. Thank you again, Rose and Pusspuss ❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Pusspuss in getting her first surgery. We managed to raise $3,000 within a week. How incredible.

I am blown away by the kindness and generosity of so many people I know and don’t know. It’s very heartwarming to know that so many people care about this little cat.

She had her first surgery yesterday and is now back at home on the way to recovery. She is purring a lot and very cuddly. The vet said the procedure went very well!

Her second surgery will be in around 8 weeks after she’s recovered from the first. I will keep updating you all on her recovery.

The first surgery was less expensive than predicted, which is amazing news. It was $2,678.30. I will amend the new goal and add a copy of the invoice for the first surgery for transparency. The second surgery will likely cost around $2,200.

Thank you so much, from Pusspuss and Rose ❤️
