Help My Daughter, Rebecca Mercer

I'm feeling overwhelmed, and worried. I know there is a lot of amazing kind wonderful supportive good folks out there. So today I reach out for your help.

It has been an incredible emotional journey we have taken as a family. Overall this is my daughter's story she is a brave little battler and her strength while living through pain countless lung infections and hospitalized on many occasions since she was nine months old.

She is an asthmatic. Her speech is very underdeveloped lots of words don't make sense and sound made up, she also has low vision and is unable to see out of one eye but that does not slow her down, she has so much energy, she is kind, warm and a sweet child.

The doctors told me she needs a car to get to the hospital so they can treat her early, to try and keep her not going to ICU. When she goes to ICU she is fighting for her life as she has life threatening asthma so I took out a bank loan to buy a car. I bought it off trade me on a private deal I was soo happy that now I could sleep knowing that I could get her to the hospital then I found out that it needs a new transmission and will cost $2,700 to fix.

I'm living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to put money together I'm not a well off person and do not have money like that, its very emotional for me as a parent I feel I have stuffed up and should have gotten a car from a car dealer she really needs this car working.
