Help Natalie Brunzel's journey to the Paris 2024 Paralympics .
Auckland
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would have the opportunity to represent New Zealand. It’s something that is just sinking in gradually. It’s a privilege that I don’t take lightly. The sport of shooting has certainly open doors for me and created moments that I will always treasure. Who would have thought that when I stumbled (metaphorically speaking) into the shooting range for the first time that it would lead me to compete on the world stage.
For those of you that know me, you will know that I don't like asking for a helping hand, but the rising costs and the thought of not being able to compete have led me to create this page. Please only give what you can spare. Every little contribution helps me along the way.
Your support will help pay for me and my support person to make this dream come true. Should I succeed at the World Championships and the world cup, it will help me to be one step closer to shooting at the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024.
My current goals:
I would love to compete at the Changwong 2023 WSPS World cup
and at the Lima 2023 WSPS World championships.
I will be competing in the indoor 10-metre air rifle shooting competition (SH2 R4). I use powerchair and adapted table.
The funds will help to ease my cost. As I am a wheelchair user, I rely on a support person to help me with my daily needs as well as setting up and loading my gun during the competition. This will cover her flights, accommodation, meals and transport.
