Support Neil get back on the road of rehabilitation. 6 years ago his world changed, help him regain his hope, mobility & independence.
Geraldine, Canterbury
We are reaching out on behalf of Neil—a dedicated son, brother, father, & friend. For the past six years, Neil has faced immense challenges with his mobility & motorskills, taking away his independence & the joy in life. His family are trying to help him regain his freedom & get outdoors.
This past week, Neil has been in the hospital. More than anything, we want to uplift his spirits & help with rehabilitation.
Neil’s greatest joy—driving—has been out of reach for too long. Living in Geraldine, surrounded by countryside. With access to many tracks. He’s been dreaming of getting back on the road & embracing the nature at his doorstep. Neil discovered NZ Trikes, & for the first time in years, his eyes lit up with hope. After a test driving a unique trike, his smile said it all.
But there’s a challenge. The specially designed trike that can give Neil his independence again comes with a price tag of $26,000 & beyond what he can manage alone.
This trike isn’t just a vehicle; it will enable him to get out of the house & experience life again. Mobility is crucial, & it can significantly improve both his physical and mental wellbeing.
We’re reaching out for help to raise the funds needed. Any contribution, will make a world of difference. If you can’t donate, a simple share can help us get closer to our goal of getting outside.
If you’ve made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read & support through this challenging journey. Together, we hope we can make his dream a reality.
Dad. Also son & brother, as our family through the support of his Mother, Barbra and Sister, Chrissy are supporting the fundraiser.
A uniquely designed trike to help condition his motor skills, which will bring him joy, exercise & improve his health and mental wellbeing. If we do not raise enough money, we will get creative in a bike at home or an upgraded scooter with more mobility.
