Thank You From Our Manager
15 May 2020A BIG thank you to everyone who has donated to Ngā Manu's appeal. With $10,458 raised thus far, we're just a few dollars away from raising one-third of our goal of $31,500 to keep our beloved animals in tucker and power our ponds and streams.
Since we launched the appeal, baby geckos and a ruru have been added to the Ngā Manu bubble. The ruru was brought to us with a broken wing and is recovering well. And it was about this time a year ago that our kiwis, Ātaahua and Puha, laid the first egg of their breeding season. It all goes to show that the cycles of life of the animals in our care tick on despite the challenges we're all facing from Covid-19. They depend on us for safekeeping - to protect them and keep them well fed no matter what.
If you have yet to support our appeal, I hope these kind comments from others will inspire you to make a gift and tell your friends about Ngā Manu. As a charitable trust, we depend on the generosity of our supporters...
