Help Nichola keep fighting stage 4 bowel cancer and gain more precious time with her three daughters.
Hamilton, Waikato
Our beloved Nichola, aged 51, is facing the toughest battle of her life, stage 4 bowel cancer that has spread to her liver and lungs.
Nichola is an incredible mum to her three beautiful daughters, aged 17, 15, and 10. Everything she does is for her girls, and right now her biggest wish is simply to be here with them for as long as possible.
Since her diagnosis, Nichola has bravely gone through 17 rounds of chemotherapy. Sadly, the treatment has not worked as hoped, and doctors are now running out of options.
Her partner Lance is the sole income earner while also supporting Nichola through her treatments and hospital visits. The emotional and financial pressure on the family has been immense.
We are raising funds to help ease this burden and to help access another treatment option called Bevacizumab, which can sometimes slow the progression of cancer when used alongside chemotherapy. Unfortunately, it is not currently government funded in New Zealand for bowel cancer and must be paid for privately.
For Nichola, this represents one of the last options that could help slow the cancer and give her more precious time with her daughters.
Any donation, big or small, will help with treatment, medical costs, and supporting the family during this incredibly difficult time. If you cannot donate, sharing this page would mean the world.
Thank you for helping Nichola continue this fight and for reminding her she is not facing it alone
