Help Nick Rebuild after Tragedy

Christchurch, Canterbury

Nick has tragically lost his beautiful wife, Daisy, at the age of only 41 after awaiting a second kidney replacement that never arrived.

Daisy’s journey involved suffering most of us can’t comprehend as well as dialysis every second day, in and out of hospital, yet through it all she had a wicked sense of humour. And Nick is one of the kindest people you could ever meet, neither deserving this cruel fate.

Together they fought a long battle with no funding or financial support.

Nick left his job as an Accountant and became self employed, enabling him flexibility to care for her and keep them afloat.

Not only did he have the pressures of running a business to support them both, he also has the ongoing grief and stress of this tragedy.

But the bills keep coming!

Please join us and help take some financial pressure off him at this time, allowing him some bandwidth to grieve.

“With great sadness we announce the passing of Daisy Rivett (Roberts) at 5pm on the 12 of June 2023.

With true grit and determination she fought until the end.

We love you Daisy”

We often thought about Daisy, Nick ever since Adam and myself went on a venture making Daisy's bag and at the last moment I made her a type of tray to eat meals of. I'm so proud of journey that Adam and myself took. Adam showed me so much joy watching the growth of the bag and the fabric tray.
