Help Nikyah represent the Cook Islands at the IVF Waka Ama World Championships by covering her final travel expenses.
Auckland
Kia ora and meitaki ma'ata,
My name is Ofo, and I'm fundraising to help my 15-year-old daughter, Nikyah, represent the Cook Islands at the IVF Waka Ama World Championships in Singapore.
Nikyah has worked incredibly hard to earn this opportunity. She proudly paddles for Manukau Outriggers Canoe Club and has dedicated years to training, showing determination, resilience and a true passion for Waka Ama. Representing the Cook Islands is a dream come true and a moment our whole whānau is incredibly proud of.
Over the past several months, we've worked hard through fundraisers, raffles and the generosity of our family, friends and community to make this journey possible. Thanks to their support, we've already covered flights, team fees, uniforms and many of the major expenses.
With our departure only days away, we still have a few important costs to cover before Nikyah can travel. We're hoping to raise $3,000 to help with these final expenses so she can proudly represent the Cook Islands on the world stage.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference and help Nikyah achieve this incredible opportunity.
Thank you for believing in Nikyah and supporting her journey. Our family is truly grateful for your kindness and generosity.
Meitaki ma'ata.
