    Hi everyone!! I landed back in Auckland at 5am this morning, and haven't managed much since except for unpacking, cuddling my cat, and a quick trip to the indoor range to give those muscles a little reminder. :)

    Now that the givealittle has closed, I just want to say a massive thank you to every single one of you! You guys were all so, so generous, and it made a huge difference to my ability to fund my trip to Ireland. The Youth Worlds was the next step on my archery journey, and I learned more than I could have imagined I would! Now, it's time for me to put that learning into practice at home, so that next time I head overseas I will be more than a newbie getting experience, I will be a world-class competitive archer!!

    Thank you all so much again for your generosity and kindness, I am so grateful to each and every one of you for supporting me on this journey. Thank you!

    What an amazing experience! Although I lost my first match today, I have come away with so much learning and so much love for my sport. Being immersed in such a high performance environment and making friends with people from all over the world has been really incredible, and there is no way I could have learned everything I have learned in just one week without coming here. I can't wait to build my experience by doing more big internationals like this. Many of the other archers have already done years of international tournaments to get to the level they are at today, which is what I need to do!

  • Made it to Ireland!

    Wow, Ireland is so cool! I had the privilege of shooting at Harbour House Sports Club yesterday, to check my gear and my form before Youth Worlds. It was the most lovely experience! We met 2 guys there who were running the place, one of whom was previously the Irish Head coach! The arrows were going nicely and my form was feeling great. Excited for unofficial practise tomorrow!
