I'm Oliver, I'm 14, and I've been selected to play for Harbour Basketball at the Eltham Dandenong Basketball Tournament in Melbourne in January 2027. It's one of the biggest junior tournaments in Australia, and it's a huge opportunity to compete against some of the best young players in the region.

I've been playing basketball for 4 years and train 3-4 times a week. Making this team has been a big goal of mine.

The trip costs about $3,750, and my family and I are working hard to raise money towards it by the end of December. I'm doing other fundraisers, but every donation makes a big difference.

• Return flights Auckland to Melbourne

• Accommodation during the tournament

• Tournament fees and team uniform

Thank you, everyone! We are blown away and so grateful for all the help and support so far. We're well on our way to the target.

Over Labour Weekend, Ollie played in the SAS October Slam 2026, and his team took 2nd place in the U16 Boys A-Grade. It was great practice for Melbourne, and a really good sign that he's recovering well from his ruptured spleen and can get back into some serious basketball training.
