Help our beautiful 4 year old niece and her whānau through her journey fighting B-cell Leukemia. Every donation and share means so much ❤️
Auckland
Our beautiful Zaliyah, has recently been diagnosed with B-cell leukemia, and our whānau is facing one of the hardest journeys we could ever have imagined.
At just four years old, Zaliyah should be playing, laughing and enjoying being a kid. Instead, she is facing hospital stays, treatment and a long road ahead as she fights this devastating illness.
Zaliyah is one of five children, and this journey affects the whole whānau. She has four siblings who also need love, care and support, including one sibling who is non-verbal and autistic and requires additional support. While her Zaliyahs mum Taniana focuses on getting her through treatment, she is also doing everything she can to keep Zaliyahs siblings supported and their family together through this incredibly difficult time.
There will be ongoing costs for hospital visits, travel, accommodation, meals, parking, time away from work and other unexpected expenses. We want to help ease that financial pressure so Zaliyah's mum can focus on what matters most being there for her daughter and her other children.
We are asking our friends, whānau, community and anyone who can help to stand alongside Zaliyah and her family.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you can't donate, sharing this page could help us reach someone who can.
Kia kaha, Zaliyah. ❤️ Your whānau is behind you every step of the way.
Taniana Edwards is Zaliyahs Mum, Zaliyah is my niece
Funds raised will help our whānau with the costs associated with her treatment and recovery, including travel to and from hospital and medical appointments, accommodation when required, meals, parking and toys to help keep Zaliyah entertained in hospital.
💜 A little update on our beautiful Zaliyah 💜 18 August 2026
Just weeks ago, Zaliyah’s life was so normal. She was our happy, cheeky 4 year old girl, playing, laughing and simply being a kid. It is heartbreaking and devastating to watch her now have to face something no child should ever have to go through.
Yesterday, Zaliyah went into theatre for her bone marrow procedure and to have her PICC line inserted. Today, she has started her first round of chemotherapy. 💜
Her little body is going through so much right now, and for a while she is unable to walk as she works on getting her muscles strong enough again. Seeing our girl go through these changes is incredibly difficult for all of us. We would never wish this journey upon anyone.
But through all of this, we continue to have faith in our mighty God 🙏🏽 We know he is with Zaliyah, guiding her, protecting her and giving her strength through every step of this journey. We believe our girl is going to get through this 💜
We ask you all to continue to stand in the gap for Zaliyah. Please keep lifting our girl up through karakia, love and positive energy. Every prayer means more to our whānau than you could ever know.
The financial support will help her whānau with the costs that come with this unexpected journey
Our girl, keep fighting. Your whānau is right here beside you, every single step of the way.
🙏🏽Please keep the karakia coming we appreciate every single one of yous 💖
❤️❤️❤️ thank you
