Help our Brother, Suva Martin Tamasese, Continue His Fight Against Lymphoma
Auckland
My brother, Suva Martin Tamasese has already completed 6 cycles of chemo, a treatment in Auckland NZ funded by the Samoan Government.
A recent PET CT scan on 17th March 2026 showed there is still an active & aggressive lymphoma in his left neck. His doctors in NZ are urgently recommending stronger chemo & radiation therapy. There's a possibility he may need further treatment overseas depending on how he responds.
Cancer treatment, especially for lymphoma, can be extremely expensive depending on the drugs & number of cycles required. Radiation therapy cost NZ$20,000–$70,000 when paid privately. These costs do not include hospital stays, scans, specialist consultations or potential overseas treatment if needed.
Both Suva & his wife had to put their jobs on hold to travel to NZ for his treatment. This has meant a significant loss of income, making it even more difficult to manage daily living expenses while continuing his care.
We are raising to help cover:
Stronger chemo as recommended by oncology specialists
Radiation therapy
Ongoing hospital & medical costs
Possible overseas treatment if required
Every donation, will help ensure he can continue his fight & return safely to his family. Please share this page, keep him in your prayers to support our family during this difficult time.
